Uganda Short-Term Mission Team: Hope High Morning Glory
Honest & Specific: How then should we live?
Today was a great day! Laura spoke to the high schoolers about following the Word of God, not their feelings, and Walter followed up with a talk on sexual purity to almost 500 high schoolers! It was POWERFUL! Then we went classroom to classroom and handed out a T-shirt, a lollypop (sweetie), and a pen to each student. They were very grateful & I think they felt the love.
The afternoon was a more intimate time of fun, games, and another talk on purity with 25 students. I was expecting the students might be very quiet and not respond much, since this was the youngest group. When I received my group, they were eager to listen, and they asked honest, specific questions about how they should conduct themselves as Christian women. The response was wonderful.
Dinner was enjoyed with our team's sponsored students. ~ Deb & Kate
As the high schoolers here say... God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good. And that's His nature. Wow! 🙌
p.s. There are many children waiting for sponsors so they can be part of the Living Hope for Children program. If you would like to provide the hope of a sponsorship to one, visit the list of waiting children here (and filter by one of these locations: Kishanje, Rubanda or Mbarara). Living Hope for Children
